Monthly Destination Updates

 

There are many Destinations in Latin America that are ready to welcome visitors and bellow we provide a chart with the most updated requirements as of January 4th. 2021.

"For Americans looking to stay close, Mexico is still open for U.S. citizens and does not require proof of a negative COVID-19 test or have any quarantines. However Americans must fill out a health declaration form before arrival.

Additionally Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic are both open and also do not require testing or quarantines. 

​

While there are no mandatory testing or quarantines, there are still some things that travelers need to know.  In Costa Rica, beaches will close at 2:30pm daily for all of January and in the Dominican Republic travelers may be selected for a random COVID-19 breath test upon arrival. Colombia is also welcoming Americans, but they do require a negative COVID-19 PCR test at least 96 hours before boarding their flight. 

​

Peru is reinstating the 14 day quarantine for all passengers entering the country.effective on January 4th.
